Racing Club de Strasbourg's youth academy has achieved a remarkable milestone, with six of its former trainees named to national team rosters for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The players include those representing France, Morocco, and other nations, highlighting the academy's growing reputation.
Among the selected players are Randal Kolo Muani (France), who joined the academy at age 14, and Habib Diallo (Senegal), both of whom have progressed through the club's ranks. The other four players are currently on loan or have moved to other clubs but retain ties to Strasbourg's development system.
Club president Marc Keller praised the academy's work, stating, 'This is just incredible. It shows the quality of our training and the dedication of our staff.' The academy has been a key part of Strasbourg's strategy, producing talent for both the first team and international football.
The 2026 World Cup, hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, begins on June 11, 2026. Strasbourg's contribution of six academy graduates is among the highest for any French club in the tournament.
