The Punjab government has decided to include topics related to patriotism and Marka-e-Haq in the province's educational curriculum as part of efforts to promote national unity and awareness among students, according to a report by Dunya NEWS.
The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. The curriculum will incorporate lessons on the sacrifices of martyrs and the significance of national solidarity.
Marka-e-Haq, a term meaning 'the battle for truth,' refers to the Pakistan Army's operations against militants. The inclusion aims to instill a sense of patriotism and respect for the armed forces among students.
Officials stated that the new curriculum will be implemented in phases, starting with primary and secondary schools. Details on specific grade levels and subjects are yet to be finalized.
