PSV Eindhoven winger Couhaib Driouech was not included in Morocco's squad for their upcoming friendly matches in March 2026. The squad, announced by coach Walid Regragui, is preparing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
When asked about Driouech's omission, Regragui stated to the media that the decision was based on the current tactical needs of the team and the competition for places in his position. He emphasized that the door remains open for all players performing well with their clubs.
Driouech, who joined PSV from Excelsior in 2024, has made limited appearances for the Dutch champions this season. His absence follows his non-selection for the Africa Cup of Nations squad earlier in the year.
The Atlas Lions are scheduled to play friendly matches against the Czech Republic and Uruguay in late March as part of their World Cup preparations.
