Paris Saint-Germain's efforts to sign Lille OSC midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi have encountered a significant setback, according to sources close to the negotiations. The 18-year-old talent, who has impressed in Ligue 1 this season, is a top target for PSG's summer transfer window.
Discussions between the two clubs have stalled over Lille's valuation of the player. LOSC is reportedly demanding a fee in the region of €25 million, a figure PSG considers excessive given Bouaddi's contract situation, which runs until 2027. The Parisian club had hoped to secure a deal for around €15 million.
Bouaddi, a product of Lille's academy, has made 28 appearances across all competitions this season, contributing two assists. His performances have also attracted interest from several Premier League clubs, including Manchester United and Liverpool, who are monitoring the situation closely.
PSG sporting director Luis Campos, who previously worked with Lille, is leading the negotiations. However, the impasse has forced the club to consider alternative targets, with Benfica's João Neves and Monaco's Youssouf Fofana emerging as potential options.
The transfer window opens on June 10, and PSG will need to resolve this deadlock quickly if they hope to secure Bouaddi's signature before other suitors make formal offers.
