Malaysian automaker Proton has officially launched the limited-run X70 Sport Edition. The model is based on the existing X70 Premium variant and introduces several aesthetic and feature enhancements.
According to Proton's official announcement, the X70 Sport Edition is priced at RM115,300 (on-the-road without insurance) for the two-wheel-drive version. The company states the new edition offers over RM6,000 worth of additional value for a price increase of approximately RM2,500 over the standard Premium model.
The upgrades include new 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, a sportier front bumper with red accents, black exterior trim, and red stitching on the interior upholstery and steering wheel. The edition also comes with an enhanced Hi Proton voice assistant and a 360-degree camera system.
Proton has indicated that the X70 Sport Edition is a limited-run model, though exact production numbers were not specified. The vehicle is available for booking immediately through Proton's official channels.
