Pratt & Whitney, a division of RTX, has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in the Nouaceur area of Casablanca, Morocco. The plant, which began construction in May 2024, is dedicated to producing high-precision engine components, including compressor disks for commercial jet engines.
The facility represents a significant investment in Morocco's growing aerospace ecosystem. It is expected to create hundreds of skilled jobs and will supply parts for Pratt & Whitney's global operations, including its GTF engine family.
This expansion aligns with Morocco's national industrial strategy, which aims to position the country as a competitive aerospace hub. The government has actively developed industrial platforms and training programs to attract major aerospace manufacturers and their suppliers.
The inauguration was attended by Moroccan government officials and senior executives from RTX and Pratt & Whitney, highlighting the partnership's strategic importance for both the company and the region's economic development.
