Pratt & Whitney Canada, a division of RTX, has officially inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in the Midparc industrial zone of Nouaceur, Morocco. The plant is dedicated to producing engine parts for commercial aviation.
The inauguration ceremony, held on April 21, 2026, was attended by Moroccan government officials and company executives. The facility represents a significant investment in Morocco's growing aerospace sector and is expected to create skilled jobs in the region.
The new plant will manufacture critical components, including compressor and turbine airfoils, for Pratt & Whitney's GTF™ (Geared Turbofan) engine family and other engine models. This expansion aims to support the increasing global demand for more fuel-efficient aircraft engines.
This investment strengthens Pratt & Whitney's industrial footprint in Africa and aligns with Morocco's 'Industrial Acceleration Plan 2021-2023', which targets the aerospace industry as a key growth sector. The company has operated an engineering center in Casablanca since 2018.
