West Yorkshire Police have launched an investigation after a man reportedly exposed himself to a woman in an isolated field near Midgley, Wakefield. The incident occurred on the afternoon of May 15, 2026, in a rural area off Midgley Road.
The victim, a woman in her 30s, was walking her dog when the suspect approached and indecently exposed himself. She was not physically harmed but was left distressed. Police have described the suspect as a white male, approximately 40 years old, of slim build, with short brown hair. He was wearing a dark hooded top and jeans at the time.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage from the area between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM on the day of the incident to come forward. Detective Constable Sarah Thompson said: 'We are treating this report very seriously and would urge anyone with information to contact us.'
