Director Peter Jackson has officially revived plans for a sequel to the 2011 animated film 'The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn', according to a recent interview. Jackson confirmed that the project is moving forward after years of delays.
The sequel, which has been in development since the original film's release, will continue the adventures of the young reporter created by Belgian cartoonist HergΓ©. Jackson stated that the script is being finalized and production is expected to begin soon.
The original film, co-directed by Steven Spielberg and produced by Jackson, grossed over $374 million worldwide. Jackson had previously indicated that the sequel would adapt 'The Prisoners of the Sun' or another Tintin adventure.
