The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has carried out temporary pothole patching along portions of Jose Abad Santos Avenue in San Fernando City, as well as in Bacolor and Lubao towns in Pampanga, as part of routine road maintenance following persistent rains.
In Aurora province, similar repair works are underway on the Baler-Casiguran Road, according to DPWH regional reports. The agency said the temporary patches aim to ensure motorist safety while permanent repairs are scheduled after the rainy season.
The DPWH urged motorists to exercise caution in these areas and to expect minor traffic delays due to the ongoing works. The agency also reminded the public to report any road damage to their local DPWH offices for prompt action.
