ORA Technologies has won the first Moroccan edition of the Startup World Cup, held on June 4, 2026, at Technopark Casablanca. The startup, founded by Omar Alami, will represent Morocco at the global final in San Francisco, California, later this year.
The competition, organized by Pegasus Ventures and Startup World Cup, brought together innovative startups from across Morocco. ORA Technologies impressed the jury with its digital solutions aimed at streamlining business operations.
Omar Alami, founder and CEO of ORA Technologies, expressed pride in the achievement. 'This victory is a testament to the hard work of our team and the potential of Moroccan innovation,' he said. The company focuses on developing software for small and medium enterprises.
The global final in San Francisco will feature winners from over 50 countries, competing for a $1 million investment prize. ORA Technologies will showcase its platform to international investors and industry leaders.
Technopark Casablanca, a hub for tech startups, hosted the event, which was supported by the Moroccan Ministry of Industry and Trade. The win highlights Morocco's growing role in the African tech ecosystem.
