Morocco's national railway operator, ONCF, has announced a special transport plan for the upcoming Eid al-Adha holiday, scheduled for June 16, 2026. The plan, effective from June 14 to 18, 2026, aims to accommodate the surge in passenger traffic during the festive period.
According to an official statement from ONCF, the company will deploy 30 additional trains and increase seating capacity by 100,000 seats across its network. This includes enhanced services on high-demand routes, particularly those connecting major cities like Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, and Tangier.
ONCF advises passengers to book tickets in advance through its official website or mobile app to secure seats. The company also reminds travelers to arrive at stations early and follow safety guidelines. This initiative is part of ONCF's annual efforts to facilitate family reunions during religious holidays.
