STILLWATER, Okla. – The Big 12 Conference announced its yearly awards on Friday, May 1, 2026, with Oklahoma State women's golfer Marta Silchenko earning the Co-Scholar Athlete of the Year designation, according to the league office.
Silchenko, a junior from Riga, Latvia, maintained a 3.778 grade-point average while competing for the Cowgirls. The award recognizes academic excellence combined with athletic performance.
This honor highlights Silchenko's dedication both in the classroom and on the golf course. She shares the award with another student-athlete from the conference.
