A trailer circulating online for a purported Marvel film titled 'The Punisher: One Last Kill' is not an official project. The highly violent fan-made video, which surfaced in early 2026, led to speculation about the character's future under Disney's ownership of Marvel.
Marvel Studios has not announced any new solo film featuring Frank Castle, also known as the Punisher. The character, last portrayed by Jon Bernthal in the Netflix series which concluded in 2019, is expected to return in the upcoming Disney+ series 'Daredevil: Born Again'.
The fan-created trailer, which features edited footage from various sources, was mistaken by some viewers for a genuine announcement. Industry reports and official Marvel release schedules confirm no R-rated 'Punisher' film is currently in production at Marvel Studios.
