The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has called on Nigerian workers to unite and actively participate in shaping the 2027 general elections. The appeal was made during a recent NLC event, emphasizing the need for workers to leverage their collective strength to influence political outcomes and ensure pro-worker policies.
NLC President Joe Ajaero stated that workers must not be passive observers but should engage in the electoral process to protect their interests. He highlighted the importance of voter registration, candidate selection, and holding elected officials accountable.
