Nigeria, three-time champions, defeated Tanzania 2-0 in Rabat to top Group A with a perfect record. Goals from Asisat Oshoala and Rasheedat Ajibade sealed the win, ensuring the Super Falcons remain unbeaten in the tournament.
Zambia, runners-up in the 2022 edition, secured their place with a 1-0 victory over Tunisia in Casablanca. The winning goal came from Barbra Banda in the 67th minute, sending the Copper Queens through as Group B runners-up behind South Africa.
The quarterfinal draw will take place on August 7, with Nigeria and Zambia joining hosts Morocco, South Africa, and other qualifiers in the knockout stage.
