Newcastle United have reached a €40 million agreement with AS Monaco for the transfer of France U20 midfielder Aladji Bamba (20), according to RMC Sport's Fabrice Hawkins. The Golden Boy award nominee has been allowed to travel to Tyneside to undergo a medical and finalize personal terms.
Bamba, who came through Monaco's academy, has made 15 appearances for the Ligue 1 side this season, scoring 2 goals and providing 1 assist. He is considered one of the most promising young talents in French football.
