The Moroccan city of Nador made history by hosting the first E-Foil World Cup ever held in Africa. The event took place from April 24 to 26, 2026, at the Marchica lagoon, a location known for its calm waters and favorable wind conditions.
Organized by the International E-Foil Association (IEFA) in partnership with the Moroccan Ministry of Tourism and the Nador regional council, the competition featured riders from over 15 countries. Participants competed in multiple disciplines, including slalom and freestyle, showcasing the latest electric hydrofoil technology.
Local authorities highlighted the event's role in promoting sustainable water sports and boosting tourism in the Oriental region. The Moroccan E-Foil champion, Yassine El Amrani, secured a top-three finish, marking a strong performance for the host nation.
