SINGAPORE – Giant illuminated creatures will roam the streets, mythical beasts will appear to break free from century-old objects, and historic buildings will become canvases for stories of land, sea and legend in the Bras Basah.Bugis precinct.
The two-week event, which begins on August 21, 2026, is part of the Singapore Night Festival. It features large-scale light installations and projections that bring local myths and legends to life, transforming the arts and heritage district into an open-air gallery.
According to the organisers, the festival will showcase works by local and international artists, with installations spread across landmarks such as the Singapore Art Museum and the National Museum of Singapore. Visitors can expect interactive elements and guided tours that delve into the stories behind each piece.
The festival is free to attend, and runs nightly from 7:30pm to midnight. For more information, visit the official Singapore Night Festival website.
