Muthoot Fincorp has acquired the title sponsorship rights for India's home cricket seasons, according to multiple reports. The agreement, reportedly branded 'Blue Muthoot', will see the company replace IDFC First Bank as the title sponsor.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had invited bids for the title sponsorship rights for the 2026-27 and 2027-28 home seasons. Muthoot Fincorp emerged as the highest bidder, though the exact financial terms have not been officially disclosed.
IDFC First Bank held the title sponsorship rights for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons. The new deal marks Muthoot Fincorp's entry into major cricket sponsorship, expanding its visibility in Indian sports.
The BCCI is expected to make a formal announcement in due course. The title sponsorship covers all international matches played in India during the specified period, including Test, ODI, and T20I fixtures.
