A multi-vehicle collision on the M27 motorway caused significant disruption during the Wednesday morning commute. The incident, involving several vehicles, occurred on the eastbound carriageway between junctions 9 for Fareham and 8 for the M275 to Portsmouth.
Emergency services, including Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service, were called to the scene. Reports indicate at least one person was treated for injuries, though the severity is not currently confirmed. Traffic cameras showed long queues forming as two lanes were closed to allow for recovery and investigation work.
