The Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC) has launched a national financial education program as part of Global Money Week 2026. The initiative, running from March 16 to April 11, aims to improve financial literacy among young people and the general public through workshops, digital content, and on-the-ground activities.

According to official announcements, the AMMC's campaign focuses on practical topics like budgeting, saving, and understanding capital markets. The authority is deploying teams to engage directly with students and young professionals across various regions.

The program aligns with the annual Global Money Week, an international awareness campaign. The AMMC stated that enhancing financial culture is a strategic priority for market development and investor protection in Morocco.

This year's extended duration allows for a wider reach, combining traditional outreach with a strong digital component, including new online resources and social media campaigns designed for younger audiences.
