The Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC) is intensifying its actions to promote financial literacy among young people as part of the 2026 Global Money Week (GMW). The international campaign, coordinated by the OECD, runs from March 16 to March 22, 2026, with the theme "Protect your money, secure your future."

The AMMC's initiatives for this edition include organizing educational workshops in schools and universities across several Moroccan cities. These sessions aim to teach students the basics of budgeting, saving, investing, and understanding financial risks.

This effort is part of the AMMC's broader national strategy for financial education, which seeks to equip younger generations with the knowledge to make informed financial decisions. The regulator emphasizes the importance of starting financial education early to foster long-term economic resilience.

Global Money Week is an annual global awareness campaign. The AMMC has been a consistent participant, aligning its domestic programs with the international drive to improve financial capabilities from a young age.
