According to the latest forecast from the General Directorate of Meteorology (DMN) in Morocco, Friday, May 1, 2026, will see a temporary improvement in weather conditions across most regions. After several days of unstable weather, Friday is expected to be relatively calm with partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures.
However, this break will be short-lived. Starting Saturday, May 2, 2026, a new unstable air mass is expected to move in from the Atlantic, bringing clouds, rain showers, and thunderstorms to the northern and central parts of the country, including the Rif, the Middle Atlas, and the Atlantic plains.
Temperatures will remain seasonal, ranging from 18Β°C to 25Β°C in coastal areas and 25Β°C to 32Β°C inland. The DMN advises residents and travelers to stay updated on the latest weather alerts, especially for areas prone to flash flooding.
