The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) officially announced on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, the preparation schedule for the Atlas Lions ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
According to the FRMF, the team will gather in Casablanca on May 25 before traveling to the United States on May 28. A training camp will be held in the Washington, D.C. area starting June 1, where Morocco will play two friendly matches: against a yet-to-be-confirmed opponent on June 5 and against the United States on June 9 at FedExField in Landover, Maryland.
Morocco is drawn in Group F alongside Belgium, Canada, and Slovenia. Their World Cup campaign begins on June 14 against Slovenia in Houston, Texas. The FRMF emphasized that the preparation program was designed to optimize the team's performance in the tournament.
