Morocco's national football team, the Atlas Lions, will play three friendly matches in preparation for their participation in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The matches are scheduled to take place in June 2026, ahead of the tournament's start.
The first friendly will be against an opponent to be confirmed, with the match set for early June. The second and third friendlies are also yet to be announced, but the Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) is expected to finalize the schedule soon.
Morocco qualified for the 2026 World Cup after a strong performance in the CAF qualifiers. The team aims to build on their historic run in the 2022 World Cup, where they reached the semifinals, the best performance by an African team in the tournament's history.
