The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially appointed Morocco as the host nation for the 2027 Africa U17 Cup of Nations. The announcement was made by CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe following a meeting of the CAF Executive Committee.

Dr. Motsepe praised Morocco's proven organizational capabilities and infrastructure, highlighting the country's successful hosting of recent major tournaments. The 2027 U17 AFCON will serve as the African qualifier for the FIFA U-17 World Cup scheduled for the same year.

This decision continues Morocco's role as a key host for African football events, having recently staged the 2022 Women's Africa Cup of Nations and the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. The exact dates and host cities for the 2027 tournament are to be confirmed by CAF and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation in the coming months.
