Morocco's women's national team secured their place in the quarter-finals of the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) after a goalless draw against Senegal on Monday evening at the Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat.
The result, in the final group stage match, was enough for the Atlas Lionesses to advance, finishing second in their group. Senegal, needing a win to progress, were eliminated.
Morocco, who are hosting the tournament, had earlier defeated Mali and drawn with Zambia, while Senegal had beaten Zambia and lost to Mali before Monday's match.
The quarter-final draw will take place after the group stage concludes. Morocco will face the winner of Group C or the best third-placed team, depending on the final standings.
