Morocco has maintained its position as one of the world's safest nations, according to the latest Global Terrorism Index (GTI). The 2025 report, published by the Institute for Economics & Peace, ranks Morocco 120th out of 163 countries, placing it in the "very low impact" category for terrorism.

The country achieved a score of 0.003 on the GTI's 10-point scale, reflecting a negligible level of terrorist activity. This performance is attributed to sustained security measures and counter-terrorism strategies implemented over recent years.

In a region experiencing significant instability, Morocco's ranking highlights its relative security and stability. The report notes that the country has not experienced a terrorist attack with casualties since 2018, contributing to its strong safety record.

The Global Terrorism Index is the leading resource on global terrorism trends, analyzing data from the previous year. Morocco's consistent placement in the lowest impact tier reinforces its reputation as a secure destination and a regional pole of stability.
