Morocco's National Council of Notaries (CNONM) has launched an electronic platform aimed at modernizing the notarial profession, according to reports from Al Ahdath Al Maghribia. The initiative seeks to 'inscribe the notarial profession in the wake of digital transformation,' as stated by the council.
The platform is designed to secure notarial acts and consolidate trust among users. It allows for the electronic management of documents and procedures, reducing the need for physical visits to notary offices.
This move aligns with Morocco's broader digital strategy, which includes the 2020-2025 Digital Morocco plan. The CNONM has not yet released specific statistics on the platform's usage or launch date, but the announcement was made in June 2026.
