The 2026 World Surf League (WSL) Junior Qualifying Series season for the Europe and Africa regions kicks off with the Morocco Mall Junior Pro, running from May 8 to 10 in Taghazout, Morocco. This event marks the first stop of the year for junior surfers competing for points toward the WSL World Junior Championships.
According to the WSL, the competition features top junior talents from both regions, with surfers aged 18 and under vying for valuable ranking points. The Morocco Mall Junior Pro is held at the renowned surf break of Anchor Point, known for its consistent waves.
Organizers expect strong participation from Moroccan and international surfers, with the event serving as a key platform for emerging athletes. The winner will earn 1,000 points in the Junior Qualifying Series standings.
