Morocco's National Tourist Office (ONMT) has launched a tourism advertising campaign on the Las Vegas Sphere, a massive spherical venue known for its high-resolution LED display. The campaign, which began in June 2026, aims to attract American and international tourists to Morocco.
The Las Vegas Sphere, which opened in September 2023, features a 160,000-square-foot exterior LED screen, making it one of the largest advertising platforms globally. The ONMT's campaign includes visuals of Moroccan landmarks such as the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca and the Jemaa el-Fnaa square in Marrakech.
According to the ONMT, the campaign is part of a broader strategy to boost tourism arrivals, targeting 17.5 million visitors by 2026. The initiative follows similar campaigns in other major markets, including the United Kingdom and France.
Tourism is a key sector for Morocco's economy, contributing around 7% of GDP. The country has invested heavily in infrastructure and marketing to attract visitors, including new airline routes and hotel developments.
