Morocco's National Agency for Medicines and Health Products (AMMPS) has officially launched the TARKHISS platform, a major digital initiative to transform the regulation of the pharmaceutical sector. The system is designed to streamline and secure the processes for authorizing medicines, medical devices, and other health products.
The launch event was attended by the Director General of AMMPS, Professor Ahid Samir, along with numerous institutional officials, industrial actors, and pharmaceutical professionals. The platform aims to enhance transparency, reduce administrative delays, and strengthen the safety and quality control of health products available in the Moroccan market.
TARKHISS represents a significant step in Morocco's digital governance strategy for healthcare. By moving key regulatory procedures online, the agency seeks to improve service delivery for industry stakeholders while ensuring robust public health oversight.
