Morocco's Ministry of Health and Social Protection has officially launched the "Tarkhiss" digital platform, a major initiative aimed at accelerating the digital transformation of the country's public health sector. The platform is designed to streamline and digitize administrative and logistical processes for healthcare institutions.
According to official statements, Tarkhiss will manage the entire supply chain for medical products, from procurement to distribution, aiming to improve efficiency and transparency. The launch is part of the broader 2025 Health Sector Digital Transformation Strategy initiated by the Moroccan government.
The platform is expected to reduce paperwork, optimize inventory management for medicines and medical equipment, and provide real-time data for better decision-making. Officials state that this digitization effort is crucial for modernizing the healthcare system and improving service delivery to citizens.
