Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni, Morocco's Minister Delegate for Digital Transition and Administration Reform, launched the "Keiretsu Startup Connect" program on Monday, April 7, 2026, in Marrakech. The initiative is designed to propel 100 Moroccan startups onto the international stage by connecting them with major global innovation hubs.

The program is a partnership with the international Keiretsu Forum network, one of the world's largest angel investor groups. It aims to provide selected startups with access to mentorship, networking opportunities, and potential investment from a global community of entrepreneurs and financiers.

Officials stated the program will focus on high-potential startups in sectors like technology, green energy, and social innovation. The launch event was held on the sidelines of the 2nd edition of Gitex Africa Morocco, a major tech and startup exhibition taking place in Marrakech from April 7-9, 2026.

The government's goal is to enhance Morocco's position as a startup destination in Africa and bridge the gap between local entrepreneurs and international markets. Further details on application criteria and selection timelines for the 100 startups are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
