Morocco national team coach Mohamed Ouahbi has summoned 28 players for a preparatory training camp scheduled from May 22 to 26, 2026, as the team gears up for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The camp, which began today, is the first official gathering of the Atlas Lions ahead of the tournament.
The squad includes a mix of experienced internationals and emerging talents, allowing the coaching staff to evaluate various profiles before finalizing the World Cup roster. The camp will feature training sessions and tactical drills at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in SalΓ©.
Morocco, which made history by reaching the semifinals of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, is placed in Group F for the 2026 tournament alongside Portugal, South Korea, and New Zealand. The team will play its group stage matches in the United States.
The final 23-man squad for the World Cup must be submitted to FIFA by June 14, 2026. Ouahbi is expected to use this camp and subsequent friendlies to make his selections.
