On July 2, 2026, Barid Al-Maghrib (Morocco's postal service) and the Chinese Embassy in Morocco unveiled a commemorative postage stamp to mark the 10th anniversary of the strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Morocco and the People's Republic of China.
The stamp, designed by a Moroccan artist, features symbols representing both nations, including the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca and the Great Wall of China, along with the flags of both countries. The ceremony took place at the Chinese Embassy in Rabat, attended by officials from both sides.
According to a statement from Barid Al-Maghrib, the stamp aims to highlight the strong bilateral relations and the achievements of the partnership over the past decade, which has included cooperation in trade, infrastructure, and culture.
The strategic partnership was established in 2016 during a state visit by Chinese President Xi Jinping to Morocco. Since then, bilateral trade has grown significantly, with China becoming one of Morocco's top trading partners.
