Morocco and Spain have been confirmed as co-hosts for the 2030 FIFA World Cup final, according to an official announcement on July 18, 2026. The decision marks the first time the final will be held across two continents, with matches also taking place in Portugal and Ukraine as part of the broader bid.
The final is scheduled to be played at the Grand Stade de Casablanca in Morocco, with the semi-finals and opening match hosted in Spain. The bid, which was approved by FIFA in 2023, includes a total of 20 stadiums across the four countries.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino praised the collaboration, stating, 'This is a historic moment for football, uniting Africa and Europe in a celebration of the sport.' The tournament will run from June to July 2030, with the final date set for July 21, 2030.
