Morocco's airports recorded a 9.7% increase in air traffic by the end of April 2026, according to the National Airports Office (ONDA). The total number of passengers reached 12.5 million during the first four months of the year.
This growth is attributed to the recovery of international tourism and the expansion of air routes. Marrakech Menara Airport led with a 12% increase, followed by Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport.
The positive trend reflects Morocco's efforts to boost its aviation sector and attract more visitors. ONDA officials expect continued growth for the rest of 2026.
