The Royal Moroccan Athletics Federation (FRMA) will not send any athletes to the 2026 World Athletics Indoor Championships, scheduled for March 20-22 in Toruń, Poland. This absence is a direct consequence of the federation's current suspension by World Athletics.

World Athletics, the global governing body for the sport, suspended the FRMA in July 2025. The suspension was imposed due to ongoing governance issues and internal disputes within the Moroccan federation that have persisted for several years.

As a result of the suspension, Moroccan athletes are ineligible to compete under their national flag at World Athletics series events, including the indoor championships. This continues a period of exclusion for Moroccan track and field from international competition.

The situation represents a significant setback for Moroccan athletics, which has a storied history in middle and long-distance running. There is no confirmed timeline for the resolution of the suspension or the federation's reinstatement.
