SensThings, a Moroccan startup born from the ecosystem of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), has announced the launch of a dedicated production line for its T3 Shield device. The T3 Shield is a mobile unit designed to detect electronic fraud and espionage during examinations, according to a press release from the company.
The device uses radio frequency detection technology to identify unauthorized electronic devices, such as smartphones or hidden earpieces, within a testing area. SensThings states that the T3 Shield can be deployed in schools, universities, and professional certification centers to ensure exam integrity.
The startup, founded by Moroccan engineers, aims to address the growing challenge of cheating using advanced technology. The production line is based in Morocco, supporting local manufacturing and job creation. As of May 2026, the company has not disclosed specific sales figures or client institutions.
This innovation aligns with Morocco's digital transformation strategy and efforts to modernize education. The T3 Shield is currently available for purchase, with pricing varying based on configuration and volume.
