A Moroccan migrant managed to reach mainland Spain from the Spanish enclave of Ceuta by hiding underneath a bus carrying a football team, Spanish police said. The incident highlights the extreme measures some migrants take to enter Europe.
According to police sources, the man concealed himself in the undercarriage of the vehicle as it boarded a ferry from Ceuta to the Spanish mainland. He was discovered after the bus arrived at its destination. The migrant was detained and handed over to authorities for processing under Spanish immigration law.
