Moroccan waterskier Kamil Belmrah has been crowned the overall champion at the 2026 African Waterski Championships. The event was held in Windhoek, Namibia, from late March into early April 2026.
Belmrah secured the prestigious continental title by winning the overall classification, which combines scores from slalom, tricks, and jump events. His victory marks a significant achievement for Moroccan waterskiing on the African stage.
In addition to the overall championship, Belmrah was also awarded the title of African Skier of the Year for 2026. The successful championships in Namibia saw participation from top athletes across the continent, highlighting the growth of the sport in Africa.
