The Moroccan high school robotics team "Matrix" has won the prestigious Rookie All-Star Award at the Başkent FRC Tournament in Ankara, Turkey. The competition, part of the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), took place from April 10-13, 2026, at the Ankara Arena.
The Rookie All-Star Award is the highest honor for a first-year team, recognizing overall excellence in robot performance, team spirit, and community outreach. Team Matrix, composed of students from various high schools in Morocco, competed against numerous international teams at the event.
