Moroccan international footballer Neil El Aynaoui was the victim of a violent home invasion and robbery at his residence in Rome, Italian police confirmed. The incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, March 17, 2026, in the Casal Palocco neighborhood.

According to reports from Italian media, including La Gazzetta dello Sport and ANSA, three armed and masked individuals broke into the player's home. The assailants tied up El Aynaoui, his partner, and their young child before ransacking the property.

The thieves made off with valuable items, including luxury watches, jewelry, and other personal belongings. No serious physical injuries were reported, though the family was left severely shaken by the traumatic event.

El Aynaoui, a 24-year-old midfielder who plays for Italian Serie A club AS Roma and the Moroccan national team, has received support from his club and teammates following the robbery. Local police are investigating the crime.
