Morgan Motors, the British automaker known for its classic, hand-built sports cars, has unveiled a new high-performance model called the Midsummer. The car is designed to bring the brand into the modern era and compete with established rivals like Porsche.
The Midsummer features a BMW-sourced 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six engine, producing 335 horsepower. It is built on a bonded aluminum platform and retains Morgan's traditional ash wood frame elements, blending heritage with contemporary engineering.
Production is limited to 50 units, with deliveries expected to begin in late 2025. The car's design includes a retro-futuristic aesthetic, with a long hood, cutaway sides, and a minimalist interior. Pricing has not been officially announced, but analysts estimate it will exceed Β£100,000.
