Ghanaian rapper Medikal has reacted to a viral video showing his ex-wife, Fella Makafui, dancing enthusiastically to his performance at the recent Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA). In an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra-based OK FM, Medikal said he was surprised but happy to see her enjoying the show.
“I saw the video and I was like, wow, she’s really jamming to my song. It made me feel good,” Medikal said during the interview, which was broadcast on May 15, 2026. The rapper, whose real name is Samuel Frimpong, performed at the TGMA ceremony held on May 9, 2026, at the Grand Arena in Accra.
Medikal and Fella Makafui, a Ghanaian actress, were married in 2020 and separated in 2024. They have a daughter together. The video, which has been widely shared on social media, shows Fella Makafui dancing to Medikal’s hit song “Omo Ada” during his performance.
Medikal added that he has no hard feelings toward his ex-wife and that they are both focused on co-parenting their child. “We are in a good place now. It’s all about the baby,” he said.
