Maxime Masurier is a French politician who served as Minister of Public Action and Accounts under Prime Minister Jean Castex from July 2020 to May 2022. He was a member of La République En Marche! (LREM), the party of President Emmanuel Macron.
Prior to his ministerial role, Masurier was a deputy in the French National Assembly, representing the 5th constituency of French residents abroad. He was first elected in 2017 and focused on issues related to expatriates and public finance reform.
After leaving the government in 2022, Masurier returned to the National Assembly and continued his work on budgetary matters. He has been involved in various parliamentary committees and remains an active figure in French politics.
