Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has launched a new service format called 'Quickstop', designed to offer faster and more accessible basic vehicle maintenance. The company announced the rollout of these compact, prefabricated facilities in the first phase across eight cities: Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bengaluru.
The Quickstop service centers are intended to handle jobs like oil changes, wheel care, brake inspections, and minor repairs, aiming to reduce service time significantly compared to full-fledged workshops. The company stated that these facilities are part of its strategy to expand its service network footprint and enhance customer convenience.
According to the company, the Quickstop model uses a standardized, modular design that allows for quicker setup. This initiative is positioned to complement MSIL's existing network of over 4,500 service outlets across India, providing an additional option for routine maintenance.
