Manchester United have reportedly placed a £51 million price tag on midfielder Manuel Ugarte ahead of the summer transfer window. The 23-year-old Uruguayan international, who joined from Paris Saint-Germain last summer, is attracting significant interest.
According to widespread reports from sources including The Mirror and The Sun, United are open to selling Ugarte after just one season. The club is looking to raise funds for their own squad rebuild under new manager, with the midfielder seen as a potential asset to cash in on.
Several clubs are said to be monitoring the situation. Italian sides AC Milan and Juventus, along with German club Bayer Leverkusen, have been linked with a move for the player. His former club, Paris Saint-Germain, is also rumored to be considering a buy-back option.
Ugarte made 25 appearances for Manchester United in the 2025/26 season. The reported £51 million fee would allow United to recoup most of the £52 million they paid PSG for him last year.
